It also assesses security infrastructure and data integrity measures including disaster recovery, business continuity, contingency plans, and intrusion detection and response. In the process of a thorough, objective OSAP evaluation, your organization will discover ways to improve efficiency, elevate quality of service, and keep up-to-date with current marketplace trends. EHNAC’s OSAP program prepares your organization for third party audits including HIPAA/HITECH compliance audits that are now being conducted by the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) on covered entities and business associates. This program also reduces risk to PHI and operations through the demonstration of a risk management program with effective controls that appropriately minimize threats.
Once an organization is OSAP accredited, other EHNAC candidates who use that outsourcer will not have to pay for additional site visits to that organization.
